CME for Physicians CME for Physicians CEU for Nursing CEU for Administrative Staff ACCREDITATION STATEMENT This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of Carolinas HealthCare System and Advanced Medical Education & Services Physician Association (AMESPA). The Carolinas HealthCare System is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
CREDIT DESIGNATION STATEMENT The Carolinas HealthCare System designates this educational activity for 41.75 credits of Category 1 credit of the Physician's Recognition Award of the American Medical Association. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit actually spent in the educational activity. The Charlotte Area Health Education Center (AHEC) designates this activity for a minimum of 3.20 continuing education units(CEU), equaling 32 hours for nurses and a minimum of 1.65 continuing education units(CEU), equaling 16.5 hours for administrative staff depending upon the number of hours attended.
